All About Our Bows

At K A & K Boutique, we take great pride in producing the absolute best hand-made bows on the market. The quality of construction and materials is visible when wearing the bows in comparison to other bow manufacturers. All of our layers bows will stand up to the competition ( quiet literally), whereas our simple sideline bows can lay flat and not stand up if you so choose. While we strive to make all of our bows the same size and shape all our products are made by hand by humans and not machines so some variations are possible. Our layered bows are made by professionally hand layering substrate over high quality grosgrain ribbon and then permanently attaching it. Once this is complete the image or design preferred is added to the bow, the bow is folded and secured with a zip tie and nylon ponytail holder. Additional nylon pony tail holders can be added ( ie. 2 per bow, upon special request from the customer. Other attachments of alligator clips or snap clips are available via special request.

From our experience we understand that the colors and designs selected for your custom bows needs to match your uniform perfectly this is why we suggest you order a sample bow prior to purchasing a full team order.

Bow Samples-Our website allows the purchase of single bows. When ordering new custom bows for your team, we highly recommend ordering a sample bow to see on the girls in their uniforms to ensure that you will love your new bows when they arrive. Photo Samples

If you would like to see what the layers would look like in the colors and fabrics you are thinking on ordering in for a sample, we will lay them out and send a photo of the colors together so you can decide on color order upon request. 

Bow Styles

There are many styles of Bows ranging from basic grosgrain or satin ribbon to multi-layered, sublimated and rhinestones bows. All bows can be customized and made as unique as you desire by combining and altering styles.

• The Basic Bow ~ Single layer of Grosgrain ribbon or satin. This bow will not stand on its own and is made to move. If you’d like it stiffened you need to advise of this prior to ordering.
• Tick Tock Bow ~ Not to be confused with the social media platform TikTok. A tick tock bow has the left bow loop and right tail the same color and the right bow loop and left tail the same color. You can choose a coordinating or fun color for the bow center as well.
• Layered Bows ~ Layering begins with the base of the bow and can be customized for your color of choice. The second and more layers can vary between satin, glitter HTV, Vinyl HTV, Screen print, Sublimation, or Rhinestones.
• Glitter Bow ~ This bow is started with a grosgrain base and then topped with Glitter HTV. It can be further customized from there including designs and prints but the base is Glittery and ready to go! Grosgrain color can be choosen.
